The gymnasts are never at the peak of the move — only just before it, or just after. ‘Injury’ (oil, 122×153) pushes into the aftermath, where composure gets rebuilt in front of everyone. The drama was never the fall; it is the standing back up.
About this note. The Atelier is Attesté’s curatorial engine. Each note is a short
editorial read of one work by a working artist, grounded only in the public record of that
work — never a price, a valuation, or a condition claim. The imagery on the card is
Attesté studio backdrop art; ‘Injury’ itself lives with the artist.
